Renae's crowning glory

Renae started seriously losing her hair when she turned a little over 4 months
At first, it was quite stressful for her mummy, cos she found bunches of hair
on the bed and on the pillows every morning.

Erica and her Rattle

Erica loves this Tiffany & Co rattle that she has. In fact, it was a present from a very special friend of mummy's. He is very creative, mainly because he is a clever architect. He recently also designed a hip cafe named Alexis in Bangsar.

Mummy will be posting some pictures up the next time she visits the Alexis cafe. It serves the most yummy-li-cious cakes..

Renae is such a cutie.

She's now almost 6 months. Started her first solid meal for about 2 weeks now and loving every minute of the it! She has also learnt to grab onto your fingers tightl.. more like pinch.

She keeps pulling her hair and scratching her ears. She stares so intensely when you talk or
when she wants your attention. she laughs a lot too, and kicks her legs happily when she's excited.

Erica's first birthday

We celebrated Erica's first birthday on the 14th July. It was a private thing cos I had just given birth to Renae 11 days before. Technically, Erica 's only 9 months clinically cos of her prematurity so she is only really one in October. That's the corrected age, supposed to be like that when assessing her developmental milestones.

Erica's Smile !

Erica has the most gorgeous smile. Her entire face lights up and let's just say that it's within the range of around1,000 kilowatts! It used to be toothless, until about 3 months ago. I had been anxiously waiting for the first tooth to pierce through her tiny gums. They have been swollen for the longest time and her drool was soaking an average of 6 bibs a day. Just 5 days ago, her second tooth sprouted. The whole family was thrilled.........
to be continued...

Renae's Baptism

Born to Catholic parents, Renae was presented for baptism on the 4th August 2007. 'Erin' is Renae's baptism name. It's an old name for Ireland and means 'Peace'. This name is so befitting of this sweet princess of mine. So peaceful and serene. Renae is lucky to have little Megan as a baptism buddy. They were both baptised by Father Anthony Ho at a private baptismal ceremony at the Church of Saint Francis Xavier.

IJ Arts Fest "Viva Spiritus"

Primary One Violet put up a latin dance item for their school Arts Festival. Dressed in their tropical coloured costumes, they gave their heart and soul as they ramba-ed and samba-ed.
Beneath their smiley faces, were their tired exhausted little bodies, but these little sweeties still gave their best. Mostly credited to their wonderful class teacher, Mrs Elaine Toh.. honing their team spirit and loving every every minute being with them.
